Last week, after we rescheduled twice, Johnny made it to his very first dentist appointment! We where concerned because he seemed to have an extra tooth coming in sideways into a gap that wasn't big enough for it! Not to mention it was just time for him to see a dentist, he is two!
Daddy took him and then entire event took about 15 minutes! Johnny was a good boy and opened his mouth wide for the dentist....he has all of his baby teeth, plus the extra tooth in the gap. However the extra tooth is not causing any issues with the other teeth or his bite and his adult teeth won't be doing anything for a few years, so they didn't want to remove it, just leave it alone! His teeth look great and he will go back in 6 months for a cleaning, that is all!
I expected to hear more from his first appointment, but it was simple and short and they gave him a new tooth brush and a rubber ducky that looks like an alien!
